Synchronizing the DSR ensures that the most current information is available in the system.

1. Open the DSR details screen or select the DSR on the Devices tree.

2. Select the actions menu and choose the Synchronize option.

3. On the Synchronize screen, choose the Unrecognized Lock Behavior.

   • Ignore (default setting) - No action is taken for locks found on the DSR. New locks are not added to Elements, and existing locks are not removed from the DSR if they do not exist in Elements.

   • Add to Elements - Automatically adds any lock discovered on the DSR to Elements if the lock does not already exist. The lock is created in Elements using the serial number as the lock name.

   • Remove from DSR - Removes any lock from the DSR that does not exist in Elements.

4. When asked to confirm this action, select Synchronize to confirm or Cancel to abandon the operation.

After Synchronize is selected, "Synchronization in Progress" will display on the Devices tree and details screen until it is complete.
