Generate audit reports to track activity in the security system.

Generated reports are intended for offline archives. The reports are not backed up in the system so disaster recovery retention policies do not apply to them. To retain a record of the reports, save them locally.
  1. From the sidebar, select Audit Reports.
  2. Select Create a Report.
  3. On the Create a Report screen:
    1. Select the Start Date of the system activity to be included in the report. (Events are retained for 90 days.) To use the calendar, select calendar icon.
    2. Select the End Date of the system activity.
    3. Select Create to generate the report. During generation, the report is listed as "Pending" in the Audit Reports list.

  4. When the report is available, select Download download icon on the report to download it.

When an audit report is created with the current date as the End Date, the report may be incomplete because the latest events are not yet fully processed in the system. If this is the case, wait five to ten minutes and create the audit report again. The latest activity should then be included.
