To allow other systems to access this system, generate API keys. 

  1. On the Marketplace page, under OnGuard Connector, select Manage.

  2. To create a new API key, select Generate. Each customer security system may have a primary and secondary API key. Having two keys facilitates zero downtime during maintenance. For example, during key rotation, one key can stay active while the other key is updated. To update an existing key, select Regenerate.
    After an API key is generated, it may be copied to the clipboard to be pasted when configuring the system.

Continue the configuration in OnGuard. 

For the systems to be connected, the key must be valid in Elements and properly configured in OnGuard.
