Elements OnGuard Connector
The Elements OnGuard® Connector allows other systems to connect with Elements, facilitating local security control of the system while supporting centralized management and monitoring. This is done through an Elements OnGuard Connector key, which is a unique identifier that allows other systems to connect to the security system. The key is generated in Elements and then used to configure the connection in OnGuard.
Once the connection is established, data can be shared between the systems. People who are remotely managed can be issued credentials, assigned spaces, groups, or roles. Their data, such as name, photo, or existing credentials, can only be managed in OnGuard and cannot be edited in Elements.
The server running the Elements Connector service must be able to communicate outbound to:
- remotemanagementservice.elementssecure.com:443
- lenelpilot.b2clogin.com:443
- portal.elementssecure.com:443
If the system is disconnected, the remotely managed people are disassociated from the external system but remain in Elements and cannot be edited. However, you can optionally make them editable when the key is deleted.
