- Assa Abloy Aperio integration: Aperio communication hubs and wireless locks have been integrated with the Elements access control system.
Connect Aperio AH40 IP hubs to LNL-X or LNL-M series controllers with firmware 2.010 or higher via IP/Ethernet. Each AH40 IP hub supports up to 64 wireless locks, depending on controller capacity.
- Connect Aperio AH30 Gen 5 hubs to LNL-X or LNL-M series access controllers with firmware 2.010 or higher via the RS-485 port. Each AH30 Gen 5 hub supports up to 16 wireless locks.
- Connect Aperio AH30 Gen 1-4 hubs to LNL-4420, LNL-3300, LNL-2220, LNL-2210, LNL-X series, or LNL-M series access controllers. The Aperio Hub Gen 1-4 supports up to eight (8) wireless locks.
- Managing Aperio lock access control is similar to reader and other lock management including scheduled intervals, lock assignment to spaces, communication of lock events, and authorizations for first card unlock, double card, and locked door access.
- Lock functions (Privacy and Escape and Return) and Deadbolt for locks equipped with a privacy mode button or a monitored deadbolt.
- Battery alarms/battery low will be reported.
- Custom card format options added:
- Combine Facility Code and Card Number: If this option is enabled, LNL-series controllers will authorize credentials based on the combined facility code and card number stored on the badge. This allows you to configure a single card format that will support multiple facility codes across all sites. The system generates the badge ID based on the calculation: Facility Code x Badge Offset + Card Number.
- Ignore Facility Code Check: If this option is enabled, and reader mode is "Facility code only", access will be denied to badges with this card format. This is a high-risk option that creates a lower security environment where anyone with a badge can access a facility even if the badge's facility code does not match.

- Event responses: When actions are taken in response to events, status updates and responses can be documented in the system.
- Documentation updates:
- The newly supported M series controller has been added to the Hardware Installation Reference.
- SCIM provisioning documentation now includes detailed instructions for Okta and Microsoft Entra ID.
- Static IP: A static IP address may be configured for a gateway or video recorder. This is an option for an environment where device connections are needed and DHCP is not available, or when maintaining both a DHCP-based address and static IP address for cloud access and off-network configuration/recovery.
- Access assignment capacity improvements:
- Previously, the maximum number of people groups was limited, but now, with the access assignment improvements, this limitation has been removed.
- A maximum of 30 access assignments (people groups + spaces) is now allowed per credential.
- If this feature is not yet activated in your system, go to System Options > Increase Access Assignment Capacity and update it.
