Each customer has a limit of 500 free emails per month. Email notifications based on rules configured in the customer portal are counted towards the limit. System emails (such as those used for registering users, issuing mobile credentials or PINs) are not billed.

Options for email notifications are:

  • 500 emails - The customer may send 500 emails per month.
    As the number of sent emails approaches the limit, warnings are emailed when the customer reaches 50%, 75%, 90%, and 100% usage. The emails are sent to the Integrator Notification Recipients (refer to Add or Edit a Customer). These warnings will also appear on the customer portal dashboard and event feed when the usage is 75% or greater.
    If the customer usage reaches 100%, email notifications will no longer be sent. Email notification service will resume at the beginning of the next billing cycle, or when the license is upgraded to ensure uninterrupted service.
  • Unlimited emails - The customer has an unlimited number of emails.

Enabling or upgrading the license incurs an additional cost which will be reflected on the current bill. When downgrading, the previous license option will apply for the rest of the current billing cycle, and the change in cost will be reflected on the next bill.

If the license is removed, the rules for email notifications that the customer configured will be deleted.
