1. From the sidebar, select Map Builder.

2. Choose a site from the list to create or edit a map. The name of the site will be used for the maps listed on this page.

3. The map for the site can be created using its geographic location or by uploading an image.

   • Geographic - Choosing Geographic will use the address configured for the site.
     If the address is changed on this screen, it will also change the address configured for the site.

   • Image file - If an image is configured to be used, this image will appear in the Map view of the dashboard.

     1. Under Image file, select Upload Image.

     2. Navigate to the file to be uploaded for the map.

4. Add devices to the map.

   1. Under Map Items, select Add Devices.

   2. Choose a device to drag and drop onto the map. Only devices belonging to this site may be added.

      • After the device has been added to the map, it can be repositioned. Select the device, then drag and drop it in the new location.

      • To remove the device, select or hover over the device and select the remove icon. Alternatively, on the Edit Devices screen, select the remove icon next to the device in the list.

5. Select Save. If you exit this screen after the changes are made without saving, you will be prompted to save or discard your changes.

Updating the Map

• When updating the image file for the map, devices that are already positioned will remain on the map.

• When changing from an existing image to a geographic location, or when changing from a geographic location to an uploaded image, a choice will be presented to remove the devices or allow them to remain on the map.
