Threat level groups are used to control access when a threat level assigned to the group becomes active.

By default, two threat level groups are added when Allow Threat Levels is enabled in System Options.

• Normal: This default threat level group is for all people groups and reader configurations in the system. When Normal is active, everyone has access in the system.
• Threat Group: This is a generic threat level group that you can configure.

Add a Threat Level Group

1. Under System Options, select Node Threat Level Groups.
2. On the New Group page, select Add a Group to add a new group. Up to 32 threat level groups can be created.
3. Enter a name for this threat level group.
4. Choose at least one threat level for this group.
5. Select Save. The new threat level group is added to the list and is now available for people group assignment.

View or Modify a Threat Level Group

1. From the threat level groups list, select the threat level group you want to view or change.
2. On the group details screen, select  and then choose View details or simply select the threat level group in the list.
3. If needed, you can change the name or choose different threat levels for this group.
4. Under Usage, the number of people groups assigned to this group is displayed.
5. Select Save if you made any changes.

Delete a Threat Level Group

Deleting a threat level group removes it from assigned people groups. People may lose the access required for the associated threat level.

The default "Normal" threat level group cannot be deleted.

1. From the threat level groups list, select the threat level group to be deleted.
2. On the group details screen, select  and then choose Delete.
3. Select Delete to confirm deletion of the threat level group or select Cancel to keep it.
