To configure a reader, download a reader configuration file from Elements and then transfer the file to the reader.

Send Configuration Files to Readers

Configuration files can be sent to readers through an LNL controller or by using the BlueDiamond Toolkit.

Send Configuration Files to OSDP Readers via an LNL controller

1. Log in to the controller.

2. Navigate to the OSDP File Transfer section.

3. Select the AVC file that was downloaded from Elements. Ensure that the file name does not contain any spaces.

4. Choose the AVC file and load it.

5. Select the target OSDP reader. The list contains online readers only.

6. Select File Transfer to transfer the configuration file to the reader.

Send Configuration Files Using the BlueDiamond Toolkit

1. Log in to the BlueDiamond Toolkit. Choose a login method:

   • Authorization Code

     1. Enter the Authorization Code.

     2. Enter the associated PIN.

   • Phone Number

     1. Enter your Phone Number and select Next.

     2. Enter the Verification Code that was sent by email or SMS.

     3. If prompted, enter your email address.

2. Apply the reader configuration.

   1. After logging in, navigate to the Configuration page.

   2. Locate the reader to be configured.

   3. Select the reader name to view its details.

   4. Verify that the assigned configuration file is displayed.

   5. Select Apply to transfer the configuration file to the reader.

Verification

Verify that the configuration file has been successfully transferred and applied to the reader.

• Confirm that the reader reflects the updated configuration.

• Verify successful file transfer status in the toolkit.

• Test the reader to verify that the new configuration is working correctly.
