Configure the floors in your system. 

  1. From the sidebar, select Configuration, and then Floors.
  2. Select Add Floors.
  3. On the Add Floors screen:
    1. Choose the number of floors in your system from Floor Count.
    2. For each floor, enter a label that describes the floor such as garage, lobby, or the floor number in the building.
    3. Select Done.
  4. After the floors are added, configure the individual floors:
    1. Configure the default floor mode. A floor can be configured to unlock during a schedule. See Configure floor mode.
    2. Associate the floor with an elevator output in your system. See Assign elevators.
    3. Associate people groups to the floors. See Assign people groups.
  5. Select Save to save the floor information. If you exit this screen after the changes are made without saving, you will be prompted to save or discard your changes.

Delete a Floor

If a floor is deleted, access to the floor is removed from people groups and the reader/output associations are made available for use elsewhere.

  1. On the Floors page, select a floor to open the floor details screen.
  2. Select actions menu and then choose Delete.
  3. Select Delete to confirm deletion of the floor, or Cancel to keep the floor.
