Configure a dedicated elevator reader in the system. 

1. From the sidebar, select Devices.
2. Select a reader to control an elevator cab.
3. On the Configure screen:
   1. Enter a descriptive Name and choose the Protocol.
   2. Select to enable Dedicated Elevator Control.
   3. If required, select a Schedule and change the Default reader mode.
4. Select Save to save the configuration. If you exit this screen after the changes are made without saving, you will be prompted to save or discard your changes.

View Elevator Reader Details

1. On the Devices page, select the elevator reader or select on the reader, and then choose View Details.
2. Options on the Elevator Reader screen allow you to:
   1. Select Temporary Unlock Buttons to allow all buttons associated with this elevator cab to be pressed (are unlocked) for a few seconds.
   2. Change the Current mode. When the current mode is changed to "Unlocked", all buttons associated with this elevator cab can be pressed (are unlocked).
   3. Select Set an Override. See Override reader mode.
   4. View recent reader events.

Delete an Elevator Reader

1. On the Devices page, select  on the elevator reader, and then choose Delete.

2. Select Delete to confirm deletion of the elevator reader, or Cancel to keep the reader.

   If an elevator cab is deleted, it will be removed from any floors, and the outputs for that cab are made available for use elsewhere. Deleting an elevator cab may affect access to spaces.
