Contact Tracing
Elements can be used to support contact tracing. A user may generate a report showing people who occupied the same spaces on a particular day.
- On the Events page, select Export.
- On the Event Export screen, export a new report.
- Enter the start date, start time, end date, and end time for the range of events to be included in the report.
- Select Generate. During generation, the report is listed as "Pending." When the report has been generated and is ready for download, it is listed as "Available."
- When the report is ready, select for that report to download it as a .CSV file.
- Use Microsoft Excel to open the .CSV file. Save the file as an Excel workbook (.XSLX).
- Select Insert Table to create a table for the data in the spreadsheet.
- Right-click on column B and insert a column.
- Enter the name, "Device Date" for the new column.
- In the first data row (B2), type
=TRUNC(A2)
and press <Enter>.
The column is filled with dates. - Select Insert Pivot Table for this table (Table1).
- Under PivotTable Fields:
- Add a filter for Event Name/Description.
- Add a filter for Device Date.
- Add a row for Space Name.
- Add a row for Person Name.
- In the table, filter the Event Name/Description by selecting AccessGrantedEntryMade from the drop-down. Select any other access events to be included.
- In the table, filter the Device Date by selecting the date(s) from the drop-down to find the time period in question.
The report shows the people who occupied the same spaces during the specified time range and can be used to trace potential exposure to an infected person.
