ReportBot is an AI-based tool designed to assist users in obtaining vital information about the Elements system. It uses natural language processing to understand user queries and provides data and valuable insights, presenting comprehensive tables and charts where applicable.

The ReportBot trial or subscription may be requested on the Marketplace page. If a ReportBot trial is being used and expires, you may request a one-time trial period extension.

ReportBot requires a license and may affect the system operating costs. Contact your VAR for more information.

If a request was made through the Marketplace, the status will be shown on the ReportBot page. If the feature has been enabled, the usage data is shown. The allotment for queries applies system-wide and is not per user.

Using ReportBot

Select ReportBot from the sidebar to display the ReportBot page.
Upon the first use of ReportBot, the legal disclaimer is presented. Review and acknowledge the terms to proceed.
Enter a query or select an example from the list.
Select Submit.

The query is analyzed and the results are displayed in the main window.

Query Results

The results are limited by the permissions of the user submitting the query. ReportBot includes up to the first 5000 records of data when responding to queries. If the results include people, events, or devices, there is an option to navigate to details of the related screen to show that record.

Tips for Queries

When crafting queries to get the best results from ReportBot, it's essential to be clear, specific, and concise. Each query is treated independently.

Be Specific and Direct: Clearly specify what you want to know. The more precise your query, the more accurate and useful the response will be.
Include Context: Formulate your query as completely as possible to provide context and reduce ambiguity. Provide any necessary background information that might help generate a more relevant response.
Iterate and Refine: If the initial output is not as expected, refine your query. Try breaking it down. If a task is complex, think about it step-by-step or divide the task into smaller sub-tasks.

By following these guidelines for your queries, you can better leverage ReportBot to gain insightful and actionable information regarding the Elements system.
