When an access controller is added, slots are automatically included for configuring the onboard auxiliary outputs depending on the number of auxiliary outputs supported by the controller. For example, when an LNL-X2220 (LNL-2220) is added, two (2) output slots are available. Similarly, adding a reader interface includes slots for the number of supported auxiliary outputs.

If LNL-X2210 (LNL-2210) onboard reader #1 is selected, only Aux Output 1 is supported. Auxiliary outputs are not supported if a second LNL-X2210 (LNL-2210) onboard reader is selected.

RS-485 Command Keypad readers do not support auxiliary outputs.

To configure an auxiliary output, complete the following steps:

  1. From the sidebar, select Devices.
  2. Above the devices list, select hide or show options and then Show available slots to show the available output slots.
  3. Under the controller or reader interface, select the Add Output slot to open its configuration screen.
  4. Name: Enter a unique, descriptive name for the output.
  5. Activate on Schedule: Select a schedule (if any) when the auxiliary output will be active. Available choices are the currently defined schedules.
  6. Always Activate: Select toggle switch (off) to enable toggle switch (on). Specifies the output will always be in an active (“on”) state. When Always Activate is enabled, Activate on Schedule will not be available because the output will be active during all schedules.
  7. Pulse time: This option is used to configure the pulse time (in seconds). The output can then be pulsed (turned on, then off again) using the Momentary Activate action.
  8. Select Save to save the configuration. If you exit this screen after entering the output information without saving, you will be prompted to save or discard your change.

Aux Output Actions

Select Actions menu on a configured auxiliary output to access these actions:

  • Momentary Activate - Pulses (turns on, then off) the auxiliary output for the duration configured in Pulse time.
  • Activate - Turns on the auxiliary output. The output is then in the Activate state.
  • Deactivate - Turns off the auxiliary output. The output is then in the Deactivate state.
  • View Details - Presents read-only auxiliary output information. Shows the activate settings and any recent auxiliary output events. For more information about an auxiliary output event, select the event to open its details screen.
  • Configure - Select to add or modify the auxiliary output.
  • Delete - Select to remove the auxiliary output configuration.
