After the MicroNode Plus is added, outputs can be added to node's onboard access control blade.

In the Devices list, select Add Output under the access control blade of the MicroNode Plus to open the output configuration screen.

  1. On the configuration screen, the first output will be position 1 on the blade and the second position 2.
  2. Enter a descriptive Name for the output.

  3. Normally Energize Output: Enable this option to specify a normally energized output relay. By default, this setting is disabled for output relays that are not normally energized. 

    Both normally-open circuit devices and normally-closed circuit devices are supported. See Wire strikes or magnetic locks powered externally (Dry contact) for 3-pin wiring.
    Refer to the output device manual to determine if the device is normally energized or normally not energized. 
  4. Activate on schedule: Select a schedule during which the output will be activated. Choices include Always, Never, and all currently defined schedules.

  5. Select Save to save your changes. If you exit this screen after changes are made without saving, you will be prompted to save or discard your changes.

  6. After all the outputs are added to the LenelS2 MicroNode Plus, make sure to synchronize the node to bring these devices online.

The available configurable outputs can be filtered. From the  above the Devices list, select hide or show options Hide available slots or Show available slots. Showing the available output slots is useful during configuration, but once the required outputs are configured, hiding any unused outputs makes it easier to view the configuration.

As a further configuration aid, the Devices list provides the blade position of the output in the Type column.

Output Actions

Select actions menu on a configured output to access these actions:

  • View Details - Presents read-only output information and any recent output events. For more information about an output event, select the event to open its details screen.
  • Configure - Select to modify the output.
  • Delete - Select to remove the output configuration.

Outputs cannot be deleted if they are linked to a reader or input.
