Connecting to a multi-imager requires its IP address and configuration of a username and password. Refer to the manufacturer documentation for more information.

  1. From the sidebar, select Devices.

  2. Above the devices list, select select Add > Multi-imager.
  3. On the Configure screen, choose the recorder. The protocol (ONVIF) is displayed.
  4. Enter a descriptive Name for the camera.
  5. Enter the IP address of the multi-imager.
  6. Enter the number of cameras.
  7. For encrypted communication, select to enable the option, Use TLS Encryption.
  8. Under Credentials, enter the Username and Password to be used for connecting to the camera.
  9. Select Save to save your changes. If you exit this screen after changes are made without saving, you will be prompted to save or discard your changes.

After the multi-imager is online, the number of cameras is retrieved from the recorder and placeholders are displayed for single camera configurations. If the multi-imager is offline, a warning will be displayed stating that the camera count is unknown and the multi-imager must be brought online to configure any cameras.

Cameras connected to the multi-imager may affect the system operating costs. Contact your VAR for more information.
