A system-wide search can be performed to find specific devices (including gateways), spaces, people, or groups. This search is different from the focused search that is available on individual pages.

In the Extended Search field, start typing the search term. The results will appear while typing (entering at least two characters will start the search). Search results may be limited based on the role of the user and site filters.

Selecting a result navigates to its relative page and displays the item details. If it is a device, the device hierarchy is also shown. Each search result has an actions menu. Depending on the type, the following options are available:

• Spaces

  • View Details - Navigate to the space details.

  • View Activity - Navigate to the Events page and filter by the space.

• People

  • View Details - Navigate to the person details.

  • View Activity - Navigate to the Events page and filtered by the person.

  • Make Active - Mark the person as active.

  • Make Inactive - Mark the person as inactive.

• People group

  • View Details - Navigate to the people group details.

• Devices

  • View Details - Navigate to the device details.

  • View Activity - Navigate to the Events page and filter by the device.

  • Quick Actions - Perform the action (for example, temporary unlock, arm/disarm input, activate/deactivate output, etc.)
