Configure an elevator in the system.
Before wiring elevator outputs, configure them in Elements to ensure the buttons are properly mapped to the outputs.
- From the sidebar, select Configuration, and then Elevators.
- Select Add Elevator to configure a new elevator, or select an elevator to edit it.
- On the Add Elevator screen:
- Choose a reader to control the elevator cab. Choices are limited to readers configured for dedicated elevator control. If no readers are available, select Manage Devices to add them.
- Select Continue.
- On the Buttons screen:
- Button Count - Specify the number of buttons this elevator has. Elevators support up to 128 buttons/floors.
- Enter a name for each button.
Alternatively, select Autofill to open the Autofill Rules to define the format that will be used to automatically populate the button names. For example:

- Select Continue.
On the Outputs screen, Choose an interface. Choices are limited to output interfaces configured for dedicated elevator control. Elevators with 16 or fewer buttons only require a single output interface.
- For elevators with more than 16 buttons:
- After choosing an interface, the number of outputs that will be assigned and how many more outputs are needed is displayed.
- Choose another interface until no more outputs are needed for the number of buttons.
Select Continue. The button output assignment is shown with the buttons assigned sequentially to the available outputs on the board(s). For example:

- If you need to change any of the button names, select Edit Button Labels.
- Select Save to save the configuration. If you exit this screen after entering the information without saving, you will be prompted to save or discard your change.
A synchronization may be required if there is issue after an elevator is configured. See Synchronize Controller Data.
Delete an Elevator
- On the Elevators page, select the elevator the elevator details screen.
- Select and then choose Delete.
- Select Delete to confirm deletion of the elevator, or Cancel to keep the elevator.
Deleting an elevator may cause gaps of unused outputs. This cannot be undone. Also, floor access may be affected.
