Add an Input Interface
To continue configuring the system, add an input interface to the access controller.
- From the sidebar, select Devices.
- Select on the access controller to which the input interface will be added.
- Select Add Input Interface to open the New Input Interface screen. When the maximum number of input interfaces are added, this action will be disabled.
- Enter a Name for the input interface.
- "LNL-1100" is displayed as the Device Type.
- Port can be modified if the controller has two (2) ports. This specifies the controller port to which this input interface is attached.
- Enter the Address. This number corresponds to the DIP switch setting on the input interface.
Select Save to save the configuration. If you exit this screen after entering the input interface information without saving, you will be prompted to save or discard your change.

Input Interface Actions
Select on a configured input interface to access these actions:
- View Details - Presents read-only input interface information and any recent input interface events. For more information about an input interface event, select the event to open its details screen.
- Configure - Select to modify the input interface.
- Delete - Select to remove the input interface configuration.
Deleting an input interface affects access to spaces and also deletes its associated inputs and outputs. Also, another input interface may not come online if it is added after this deletion. To resolve this, synchronize the access controller.
Configure Alarm Inputs
When an input interface is added, 16 slots are automatically included for configuring its alarm inputs. To configure an alarm input, complete the following steps:
Under the output interface in the Devices list, select the Add Input slot to open its configuration screen.
- Name: Enter a unique, descriptive name for the input.
- Mask on Schedule: Select a schedule (if any) during which events will not be reported from this input. Choices include all currently defined schedules.
- Always Mask Input: Select to enable . Specifies events originating at this input will never be reported. When Always Mask Input is enabled, Mask on Schedule will not be available because the input will be masked during all schedules.
- Supervision: Select a supervision and normally open / closed option.
- Debounce: Select the debounce level. This is the amount of time the input must change state in order for that change to be considered a logical change of state. There are six levels of debounce with the first being the lowest (shortest) and the last being the highest (longest). It is up to the hardware interface to map these values to hardware specific values, as well as to map the default option to a hardware specific value.
- Select Save to save the configuration. If you exit this screen after entering the input information without saving, you will be prompted to save or discard your change.
The available (non-configured) slots can be filtered. From the hide or show options above the Devices list, select Hide available slots or Show available slots. Showing the available slots is useful during configuration, but once the required inputs and outputs are configured, hiding the unused slots makes it easier to view the configuration.
As a further configuration aid, the Devices list provides the board location of the inputs and outputs in the Type column.

Alarm Input Actions
Select on a configured input to access these actions:
- Mask - Select to stop event reporting from an input.
- Unmask - Select to allow event reporting from an input.
- View Details - Presents read-only input information. Shows the Supervision and Mask settings and any recent input events. For more information about an input event, select the event to open its details screen.
- Configure - Select to modify the input interface.
- Delete - Select to remove the input interface configuration.
Configure Output Relays
When an input interface is added, two (2) slots are automatically included for configuring its output relays. To configure an output, complete the following steps:
- Under the output interface in the Devices list, select the Add Output slot to open its configuration screen.
- Name: Enter a unique, descriptive name for the output.
- Activate on Schedule: Select a schedule (if any) when the output will be active. Available choices are the currently defined schedules.
- Always Activate: Select to enable . Specifies the output will always be in an active (“on”) state. When Always Activate is enabled, Activate on Schedule will not be available because the output will be active during all schedules.
- Pulse time: This option is used to configure the pulse time (in seconds). The output can then be pulsed (turned on, then off again) using the Momentary Activate action.
- Select Save to save the configuration. If you exit this screen after entering the output information without saving, you will be prompted to save or discard your change.

Output Actions
Select on a configured output to access these actions:
- Momentary Activate - Pulses (turns on, then off) the output for the duration configured in Pulse time.
- Activate - Turns on the output. The output is then in the Activate state.
- Deactivate - Turns off the output. The output is then in the Deactivate state.
- View Details - Presents read-only output information and any recent output events. For more information about an output event, select the event to open its details screen.
- Configure - Select to modify the output.
- Delete - Select to remove the output interface configuration.
