To override the current door mode:

View the node reader details.
From the reader details screen, select Override Door Mode, and then select the Door mode.
Select Apply to save the door mode setting.

When a door mode is changed, the "Door Mode Changed - Credential" or "Door Mode Changed - Unlocked" event is displayed in the Dashboard event feed and on the reader details screen under Events.

Door Modes

Credential: This is the default door mode during which the door remains locked, and a credential is required to unlock the door. The door remains in a locked state until it is unlocked for a scheduled unlock or double card read. When the schedule is no longer active, the reader returns to the default mode.
Unlocked: During this mode, the door is unlocked and remains unlocked until it returns to Credential mode when a scheduled unlock expires or a double card read occurs.
Credential - Permanent: The door remains in Credential mode with or without a schedule, and during an active threat level or normal operation.
Unlocked - Permanent: The door remains in Unlocked mode with or without a schedule, and during an active threat level or normal operation.
